Photo outing to Pasar Pagi Temerloh with Temerloh Photographers. One of the longest Pasar Pagi in Malaysia that I’ve been to. Located near the Temerloh Stadium, stretching along the Pahang River of The Temerloh Esplanade.
The main attraction is the Pahang’s fresh water fishes… very expensive. Wild Patin Muncung RM95 per kg.
Images taken with Nikon D7000 + Samyang 8mm Fisheye & Nikkor 70-300vr.
This is my office trip to Phuket from 15 July to 18 July 2011.
We stayed at Royal Paradise, Patong. Great location… in the heart of Patong Town, 10 minute walking to Patong Beach, 5 minute to Bangla Street, 20 minute to Hard Rock Cafe.
Phuket is an expensive place… doubles of everything compare to Bangkok. Great place to visit with friends.
Images captured with Olympus Pen E-PL1.
A personal outing to test my newly acquired Samyang 8mm Fisheye lens. Always want a fisheye lens… but too expensive. Luckily… Samyang produce a cheap alternative. Even though it’s cheap… but the build quality is very high. This is a manual lens… so no autofocus & aperture adjustment done manually. The fisheye is a stereographical projection lens. Very sharp from F5.6 onwards.
Images shot with D7000. The D7000 Non CPU lens configuration works well with this lens.. the camera will detect the manual aperture value & embed it on the image EXIF… thus provide an auto exposure value & shutter speed.
My last visit to Singapore when I was 11 years old. After 21 years… I made another shock unplanned short stint visit to Singapore. It was drizzling with rain for the whole day. 1/2 day in the Singapore zoo… then when to Marina Bay… just to see the Marina Bay Sands later to the Merlion Park… lastly to Bugis Street.
All images captured with Olympus Pen E-PL1 attached with kit 14-42mm & 40-150 kit lens.
A bit disappointing my 1st visit to Bali was welcomed by the rain. Our first tourist attraction visit is to Tanah Lot to view the sunset. However, as you can see the picture above, the black clouds covers the sun and the sunset is not that spectacular.
But, hey! Just to take the picture of Legendary Tanah Lot Temple is a dream come true and its a dream to any photographer out there.
I’ll cherish my 3 days visit there and for three days also… BALI IS MY LIFE!
This is my unplanned and surprise trip to Bali. Never in my wildest dream that I will go there this sudden. To make story short, I replace my friend who cancel his place and I just need to pay for it but its still way too cheap compare if I go by myself.
Bali is a beautiful place, the beach, the town, the temple and the scenery… its a heaven for photographer. To go there just for 3 days & 2 nights are not enough due to the distance between such places are too far.
Hopefully I can repeat my visit again…, following a tour group is not the best way to enjoy Bali especially with a group that mad about shopping. Furthermore, the weather not that helpful where its sometimes rain.
