This is the grand event in the series of Flora Fest for The Visit Malaysia Year 2007. A total of 18 floats participate from states tourism board to corporate companies. The main trophy won by Penang ‘Wings of Dreams’ float.

All image capture with Sigma 28-300mm DG Lens. Not able to capture all the floats because at the same time I have a LIBUR Travel Photography Workshop at Perbadanan Putrajaya Building.

Florathon is one of the series of event under Flora Fest 2007 for the Visit Malaysia Year 2007. Participant came in colorful flower costume to take part in the slow walk race for 3 KM. Apart from the slow walk race there’s also Waiter & Waitress race. The Florathon main event won by Aquaria Team for overall and Istana Budaya for 1st place in Slow Walk Race.

Buat julung kalinya, Pameran Sains Islam Mendahului Zaman diadakan di KL Convention Center. Pameran sepatutnya diadakan dari 8 Jan - 14 Jan dilanjutkan sehingga 14 Feb. Tak banyak orang tahu sehinggakan hari ini orang ramai berduyun-duyun ke pameran menjangkakan ianya hari terakhir.

Another paintball collections. The sport is gaining popularity here in Malaysia, every month and every states there will be a tournament. This time its the Rakan Muda Paintball Challenge for the Novice Cup. Held at a Paintball Academy Field behind Armada Hotel PJ.

The previous paintball blog was captured with Nikkor 70-300mm G Lens and compare with Sigma 28-300mm DG Lens used today, both of them behave similarly only advantage to sigma for its wide aspects.

The net conditions of the field not that good, too many ripple thus effects the pictures quality. Tight and straighten net can void blurriness in the picture.

Maybe its the wrong time of the year, but hey I’ve made up my mind and this the only time I have. Trip to Kuala Terengganu in Monsoon Season! (4-6/1/2007). This is my 1st trip there, my farthest destination in Terengganu were Kijal & Kemaman.

Nice weathers on traveling day to Terengganu, 2nd day a little bit rain here & there but the 3rd day the weather full of sunshine and a blue sky. Traveling day to home, my worst but best experience yet on long distance driving. Monsoon storm all the way, some of the road closed right after I pass thru. The wave!!! along the route thru Rantau Abang, reminds me of the movie ‘Perfect Storm’.

Well, thank god I manage to arrive home safely. All picture taken with Sigma 28-300mm DG Lens. Not the best picture pics IMHO with the gloomy weathers, but I have a very memorable trip.
