LTDL 2007 - FInal Stage Criterium KL

February 11th, 2007 | Bob Tahar

Le Tour De Langkawi 2007 ends at Stage 10 Criterium KL. The stage won by Alberto Loddo of Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni Team. He won a total of 5 stages however the overall champ went to Anthony Charteau of Crédit Agricole Team.

This was my 1st time photographing LTDL or any bicycle racing events. A lot to learn especially the shutter speed, never thought it was that fast. Lucky me this was criterium so I can trial and error, if other stages I would probably snap no pictures at all.

AmBank Group Golf Tournament 2007

February 10th, 2007 | Bob Tahar

AmBank Group Club held its anual golf tournament for 2007 at Sg. Long Golf and Country Club. Always interested in capturing golf, definitely a hard work because I’m the only one not riding the buggy. Lighting also hard to control especially when the green covers with shades from the trees.

All images captured with Sigma 28-300mm DG lens and Nikkor 18-55mm ED attach with Pro Tama 0.50x Wide Angle Converter (i.e. image above). The wide angle converter perform quite great but it has some flaws with barrel distortion and vignette.

Paintball - 1st Round NPL

February 4th, 2007 | Bob Tahar

National Paintball League (NPL) is the 2nd main league in Malaysia after MPOC. NPL kick off their 2007 campaign at Padang Merbok KL same date as MPOC leg. Looking at the tentative dates for all 5 legs of NPL and MPOC, all of them will be at the same clashing dates.

Both league should sit in a discussion so both of them can held the leagues without clashing each other dates. Malaysian paintball teams would have the opportunities to play a total of 10 competitions in a year rather than 5 due to the clashing dates. For more information on NPL, please visits http://www.my-npl.org.
