This is the 3rd AmBank Go-cart challenge held at Std Shah Alam car park track. Nearly 500 participants took part in this hot and exciting race. The race divided into 2 categories, Men Group & Ladies Group. They will take part in team (4 members) endurance and individual races.

This would be my 2nd time here… but a bit disappointing that the species variation seems to be lesser than before. Most noticeable was The Mandarin Duck, its gone!

However, the main reason I went there was to test my newly acquired lens, the Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 APO EX (Non-DG). The glass, the quality, the sharpness, the focus speed and of course the bokeh are superb. A bit soft at wide open but great end to end at F4.0.

I also combine it with Tamron 1.4x SP AF Teleconverter. The lens work great with it, AF works at all length but some focus creep and hunting at the long end. It also add 1 stop on aperture but the camera didn’t detect it and this problem was acknowledged by Tamron.

Next I will test it on sport, the main reason why I got the lens.
