Putrajaya - Samyang 8mm Fisheye Field-Test
June 6th, 2011 | Bob Tahar
A personal outing to test my newly acquired Samyang 8mm Fisheye lens. Always want a fisheye lens… but too expensive. Luckily… Samyang produce a cheap alternative. Even though it’s cheap… but the build quality is very high. This is a manual lens… so no autofocus & aperture adjustment done manually. The fisheye is a stereographical projection lens. Very sharp from F5.6 onwards.
Images shot with D7000. The D7000 Non CPU lens configuration works well with this lens.. the camera will detect the manual aperture value & embed it on the image EXIF… thus provide an auto exposure value & shutter speed.
